Magic Chess: Go Go Surpasses 8 Million Pre-Registrations, Soft Launch in Malaysia and Singapore Soon!

MOONTON Games has announced that Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG) has surpassed a whopping 8 million pre-registrations, solidifying its position as one of the most highly-anticipated mobile titles of 2024. The game, set in the same universe as the popular Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), is gearing up for a soft launch in Malaysia and Singapore in the coming weeks, with a full Asia-Pacific launch planned for early next year.

Gao Chong, MCGG Producer at MOONTON Games, expressed excitement about the upcoming launch, stating, “Magic Chess was introduced in 2020 as a game mode within MLBB that has since grown in popularity. Given its success, we decided to launch MLBB’s most popular arcade mode as a standalone mobile application. This will provide more content for our players, an enhanced user experience, and the opportunity to create professional esports events. We can’t wait for players to enjoy the game!”

Magic Chess: Go Go is a casual free-to-play mobile game that caters to fans of auto-chess and strategy. Players will take on the role of the ultimate strategist, commanding familiar MLBB Heroes to create their champion legion and strategically deploy their forces on the Chessboard. Each Chessboard will host eight players engaging in Player versus Player combat, testing their strategies and tactics to emerge as the last strategist standing.

The game features powerful unique skills for each Commander, offering players distinct battle experiences. Players can unlock each Hero’s strongest combo to secure victory on the Chessboard. Additionally, deploying Heroes from the same city-state will grant players powerful Synergy buffs, adding depth to the gameplay experience.

Magic Chess players can easily migrate their inventories and progress to MCGG by binding their accounts. All owned assets, including Heroes, skins, battle effects, and resources, will carry over to the new game. Resources that are not available in MCGG will be converted into items that can be exchanged for other resources or used once they become available.

With the soft launch of Magic Chess: Go Go on the horizon, players in Malaysia and Singapore can look forward to diving into the ultimate MLBB multiplayer strategy game in the near future. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new release!
