NFL Stars to Compete in BlitzChamps III Chess Tournament for Charity!

BlitzChamps III is set to kick off with an exciting lineup of NFL stars ready to showcase their chess skills for a good cause. The tournament will feature eight players, including current and former football players, competing in a double-elimination bracket for a chance to win a share of the $100,000 prize pool, all of which will be donated to charities of their choice.

Among the players participating in BlitzChamps III are Chidobe Awuzie, Justin Reid, Larry Fitzgerald Jr., Michael Vick, Drue Tranquill, Kyler Murray, Mack Hollins, and Quenton Nelson. These football experts will battle it out in a series of matches with varying time controls, culminating in the Grand Finals with a unique format and tiebreaker rules.

The champion of BlitzChamps III will walk away with $30,000 to donate to their chosen charity, while the other participants will also receive a portion of the prize pool to support their selected causes. From the Awuzie Kickstep Foundation to Shelice’s Angels, each player has a charity close to their heart that will benefit from their participation in this charitable chess blitz series.
