Top Eight Players Qualify for Knockout in FIDE World Blitz Chess Championships

The top eight players of the FIDE World Blitz Chess Championship and FIDE Women’s World Blitz Chess Championship have advanced to the Knockout round on day two of the tournament. In the Open category, notable players such as Magnus Carlsen, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Fabiano Caruana, and Wesley So have secured their spots in the next stage of the competition.
