“Dubai Culture’s School of Life Programme: February’s ‘Space and Innovation’ Theme Offers Engaging Workshops and Activities for the Community”

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) is offering a diverse and engaging cultural programme through its School of Life project this February. The theme for this month is ‘Space and Innovation,’ with 39 interactive sessions and workshops planned across libraries and clubs in Dubai. These activities aim to enhance professional skills, teach programming and game design techniques, and inspire creativity among the community.

Highlights of the programme include short courses on strategy development, Arabic calligraphy, the Emirati dialect, and healthy nutrition tips. These sessions empower visitors to the Dubai Public Libraries to develop their talents in various fields. Additionally, three sessions will be offered to school students, focusing on topics such as astronomical observation, game development, and vertical farming.

As part of the ‘Space and Innovation’ theme, the School of Life project will also host events during the 13th Sikka Art and Design Festival. Participants can learn about traditional wooden door carving, Emirati heritage, photography, and turning everyday moments into artistic shots. The programme also includes workshops on wellness and nutrition, art, chess, calligraphy, and career development.

Overall, the School of Life project by Dubai Culture aims to provide a platform for individuals to learn, grow, and explore their creativity in a supportive and engaging environment. With a wide range of activities and workshops planned, the community is sure to benefit from this enriching cultural programme.
