The Esports World Cup 2025: VALORANT Tournament Details and Schedule

The Esports World Cup 2025 is gearing up to be one of the biggest gaming tournaments of the year, set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this summer. Featuring popular competitive games like VALORANT, League of Legends, and Teamfight Tactics, the event promises to be a thrilling showcase of top-tier esports talent.

One of the most exciting aspects of this year’s Esports World Cup is the debut of VALORANT in the tournament lineup. Thanks to a partnership between Riot Games and the EWC, VALORANT will be making its first appearance at the event, adding even more excitement to an already stacked lineup of games.

The VALORANT Esports World Cup 2025 is scheduled to run from July 8 to July 13, with a 16-team tournament format that includes a group stage, quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals. While the official prize pool for the VALORANT event has not been announced yet, the League of Legends tournament has confirmed a $2 million prize pool, setting high expectations for VALORANT’s payout.

As for the participating teams, details have not been revealed yet, but it is likely that franchised VCT teams and top Ascension teams will receive invites. More information is expected to be announced in the coming months as the tournament draws closer.

In addition to VALORANT, the Esports World Cup 2025 will feature a mix of returning favorites like Overwatch 2, Dota 2, Rocket League, and Apex Legends, as well as new additions such as Chess, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, CrossFire, and FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves.

With less than four months to go until the tournament kicks off, fans can expect more details about the prize pool, participating teams, and group stage format to be revealed soon. As Riot Games continues to expand VALORANT’s global presence, its inclusion in the Esports World Cup marks a significant milestone in solidifying the game’s position as a top-tier esport. Stay tuned for more updates as the excitement builds for the Esports World Cup 2025.
