Four Grandmasters, Vladimir Fedoseev, David Paravyan, Sam Sevian, and Christopher Yoo, have battled their way through the Play-Ins to secure a spot in the main event of the Bullet Chess Championship 2024. The intense competition saw Paravyan defeating Sevian in the Winners Final of Play-In 1, only for Sevian to make a remarkable comeback and also qualify for the main event. In Play-In 2, Fedoseev emerged victorious in the Winners Bracket, while Yoo staged a stunning comeback in the Losers Bracket to secure the final qualification spot.

The main event of the Bullet Chess Championship is set to kick off on Monday, June 10, at 12 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. CET / 6:30 p.m. IST. The players had to finish in the top eight of the arena to qualify for the knockout stage, with the top four advancing to the Winners Bracket and the next four to the Losers Bracket.

In Play-In 1, Paravyan showcased his skills by defeating Sevian in the Winners Bracket Final, securing his spot in the main event. Sevian, despite the loss, fought back in the Losers Bracket Final to earn his qualification. The competition was fierce, with notable players like Levon Aronian and Alexander Grischuk also in the mix.

Play-In 2 saw Yoo dominating the arena stage and the Losers Bracket, while Fedoseev prevailed in the Winners Bracket despite facing time deficits in some of his matches. The competition was intense, with players showcasing their tactical prowess and resilience in the face of challenges.
