D Gukesh reveals the secret to his meteoric rise in chess and preparation for World Championship

At just 18 years old, D Gukesh has taken the chess world by storm with his meteoric rise to the top. The Indian Grandmaster recently revealed the secret to his success in an exclusive interview with The Times of India.

Gukesh, who surpassed the legendary Viswanathan Anand as the top-ranked Indian chess player after 37 years in 2023, shared that he dedicates almost 10 hours to chess when he has no commitments.
