US Chess Seeking Applicants for Trainer Positions for the 2024 Olympiad Teams

US Chess is currently seeking applicants for two prestigious positions as Captains for the 2024 USA Olympiad Team and the 2024 USA Olympiad Women’s Team at the 45th FIDE World Chess Olympiad in Budapest, Hungary. This is a unique opportunity for experienced and certified FIDE trainers to lead the American teams to victory on the international stage.

Applicants from any federation are welcome to apply, as long as they hold a certification as a FIDE trainer at any level. The selected Captains will have the important task of guiding and strategizing for the teams during the Olympiad, which will take place from September 10th to September 23rd, 2024.

In addition to their qualifications, successful applicants must also complete US Chess SafeSport Training by September 1, 2024. This training is crucial to ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants.

If you are interested in applying for one of these prestigious Captain positions, please submit your resume and cover letter to Brian Yang, US Chess FIDE Events Manager, by Friday, June 21, 2024, at 5PM Central time. Incomplete applications will not be considered, so make sure to provide all necessary information.
