Are you a skilled marketing and communications professional looking for a new challenge? US Chess, based in St. Louis, Missouri, is currently seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to join their team. This full-time, exempt position offers a competitive salary and full benefits package.

As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing all external communications, marketing strategies, public relations activities, and internal communications for US Chess. Working closely with the Executive Director and the Communications team, you will play a key role in enhancing the organization’s image and positioning within the marketplace.

Key responsibilities include creating and measuring the success of marketing, communications, and public relations programs, managing social media, coordinating media relations, and overseeing the design and production of print and electronic materials. You will also be involved in strategic planning, budgeting, and evaluating the performance of marketing initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you must have demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, and public relations, as well as strong creative, strategic, and analytical skills. A bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, or public relations is preferred, along with experience in the nonprofit or association sector.
