The tournament will feature a unique format with rapid games counting double and a blitz tournament with twice as many games as the rapid portion. The rapid chess tournament will kick off on July 10th, with three rounds of rapid chess scheduled for each day on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The double-round blitz tournament will follow on Saturday and Sunday.

The field for the tournament includes seven “regular” Grand Chess Tour players and three wildcard invitees.
