The event was organized by the Southwest Minnesota Chess Club, and Baginskaite’s visit provided a unique opportunity for the young chess enthusiasts to learn from a grandmaster. The players, who learned to play chess at the Marshall Area YMCA and West Side Elementary, were excited to test their skills against Baginskaite.
