Magic Chess: Go Go APAC Grand Launch on 21 February, hits 15 million pre-registrations!
MOONTON Games has announced the highly anticipated “APAC Grand Launch” of Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG) on 21 February. The free-to-play multiplayer strategy game will be available for download in several countries in the Asia-Pacific region, including Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand on iOS and Android. Previously soft-launched in Malaysia and Singapore, MCGG is set to make a big splash with its official launch.
Created by the original team behind MOONTON Games’ popular title Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), MCGG immerses players in the beloved universe of MLBB. Players will take on the role of master strategists, commanding familiar MLBB Heroes like Layla, Nana, and Chou to build their ultimate forces. The game features eight players engaging in Player versus Player (PvP) combat on a Chessboard, testing their real-time decision-making and strategies to emerge as the last strategist standing.
With over 15 million pre-registrations, MCGG has already captured the attention of mobile gamers worldwide. Gao “Skyhook” Chong, MCGG Producer at MOONTON Games, expressed excitement about bringing the concept of MCGG from the Land of Dawn in MLBB to real-world gamers, offering a fresh competitive field to enjoy the rich and immersive world of MLBB.
Additionally, the upcoming Season 1 of MCGG, titled “Rising Dawn,” will offer players a host of free and exclusive rewards, including Commanders, Chessboard skins, and hero skins. Each season will introduce new gameplay mechanics to keep the experience fresh, with Season 1 featuring a Two-Player Mode that emphasizes teamwork and collaboration.
For veteran players of Magic Chess within MLBB, a Gratitude Event will convert their inventories at 100% value into MCGG currency, allowing them to exchange for Commanders and skins in the MCGG Shop.
As the countdown to the APAC Grand Launch of Magic Chess: Go Go continues, mobile gamers can look forward to an exciting and strategic gaming experience that combines the best elements of MLBB with a new twist.
