Other notable performances included 16-year-old FM James Chirilov, who was just half a point away from an IM norm, and 30-year-old Jonathan Pagan, whose performance saw his national rating break the 2200 threshold for the first time, earning him the NM title.

Experienced players in the IM Round Robins also had successful outings, with Lithuanian GM Maxim Novik and IM Mykola Bortnyk winning their respective sections. While no norms were earned in these sections, players like James Marsh saw significant rating improvements, showcasing their growth and potential in the game.
