China Returns to Chess Olympiad, Russia Still Absent

In a thrilling start to the Chess Olympiad in Budapest, a record-breaking 197 teams are set to compete in the open section, with China making a return while Russia and Belarus remain banned. The absence of these powerhouse teams has set the stage for unexpected results and exciting matchups.
