In an exciting collaboration, Chess.com has announced a partnership with the Charlotte Chess Center (CCC) to bring the best of online chess to in-person events. Founded in 2014, the CCC is celebrating its 10-year anniversary and is widely recognized as one of the top chess clubs/centers in the country.

The CCC, recipient of the 2019 “Chess Club of the Year” award by the US Chess Federation, is known for organizing prestigious events such as the US Masters, GM/IM Norm Invitational Tournaments, and the ChessKid National Festival. The center has played a crucial role in nurturing young talents and providing them with opportunities to compete for international and grandmaster titles without the need to travel abroad.

With a team of dedicated coaches and grandmasters like Daniel Naroditsky and Dina Belenkaya, the CCC has created a vibrant chess community that attracts players of all levels. The upcoming 8th Annual Carolina Classic, to be held at the Hilton Charlotte University Place Hotel, will feature legendary players like Judit Polgar and Veselin Topalov.

Chess.com is thrilled to support the CCC’s mission of promoting over-the-board chess events and providing opportunities for players to hone their skills and compete in a competitive environment. The partnership aims to strengthen the US chess culture and foster the growth of rising stars in the game.

Whether you are a seasoned player or a beginner, the CCC welcomes chess enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels to join them for their upcoming events.
