After a thrilling HyperBullet Championships last week, where GM Andrew Tang emerged victorious, the focus now shifts to the Chess960 Championships. Qualifiers will take place from June 17 to 20, with multiple tournaments scheduled throughout the day to accommodate players from different time zones.

To participate in the event, players must have at least 25 rated games played in the 960 variant on the main server and join the Chess.com Community Club. Fair-play checks will be conducted during the qualifiers, requiring players to join a video call with two cameras to ensure fairness.

The Finals day on June 21 will feature Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and the Winners Finals, with the chat community invited to select the starting positions for the final match. With eight chances to win a spot in the finals, this is an opportunity for players to showcase their skills in the unique Chess960 variant.

Follow the action on Chess.com’s Community YouTube and Twitch channels to stay updated on the tournament and cheer on your favorite players as they compete for the top prizes. Don’t miss out on the chance to be a part of this exciting event and test your chess skills in a new and challenging format!
