Let’s say you want to explore a specific position, such as the Rossolimo structure, and understand the implications of exchanging the bishop on c6. By using references and engine variations, you can gain valuable insights into the position and make informed decisions about your next moves.
To add references to your analysis, simply click on the “Reference” tab above the notation. This will display a list of reference games and the most recent games played in the position. You can also view these games on a separate Quick Board for a clearer analysis.
If you want to incorporate reference moves into your notation, you can switch between the “Notation” and “Reference” tabs and click on the desired move. You can also transfer complete reference games to your notation by right-clicking on the game and selecting “Copy to Notation.”
Similarly, you can add engine lines to your notation by clicking on the desired move in the engine variation. This allows you to analyze different lines and evaluate the position based on the computer’s assessment.
