“Can the Stars Shine Brighter in the Kids vs. Stars Rematch?”

The battle between the talented youngsters and experienced masters in the Kids vs. Stars match is heating up as the Stars bring in reinforcements to try and turn the tide in their favor. In the first match of the series, the Kids, featuring FM Rose Atwell and WFM Megan Paragua, dominated the Stars, WFM Anna Cramling and WGM Nemo Zhou, with an impressive 12-point margin.

Now, the Stars are fighting back with Nemo Zhou returning to the lineup, joined by nine-time British Women’s Champion and popular Chess.com commentator IM Jovanka Houska. The young Kids team, consisting of nine-year-old WFM Bodhana Sivanandan and twelve-year-old Antek Radzimski, are not to be underestimated. Bodhana has already made headlines with her historic achievements in the World Youth Championship, while Antek’s recent success in the European U12 Team Championship showcases his fighting spirit and skills.

FM Mike “FunMaster” Klein, ChessKid’s Head of Content & Scholastic Growth, expressed his excitement for the upcoming match, highlighting the challenge the Stars face against their significantly younger opponents. The players will compete in a team match, with each kid facing each star six times in a 3+1 time control format. The team with the most points at the end of the 24-game clash will emerge victorious.

Chess.com’s Kids vs. Stars match is set to take place on Tuesday, July 16, at 12 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. ET. Fans can catch all the action on Chess.com’s Twitch and YouTube channels. Will the Stars be able to outsmart their young opponents and secure a win, or will the Kids continue their dominance in this exciting series of matches? Stay tuned to find out.
