The India Meteorological Department has reported severe heat wave conditions affecting parts of southwest Madhya Pradesh over the past 24 hours. Weather expert Devendra warns that these conditions are also impacting Gujarat and Maharashtra, where humidity levels are high. In fact, Delhi recorded its hottest day of the season yesterday, with temperatures at Safdarjung observatory reaching 36.8°C—nearly 9°C above the average!
