GMs Nakamura and Naroditsky Advance to Winners Final in Bullet Chess Championship 2024

GMs Hikaru Nakamura and Daniel Naroditsky have dominated the Winners Bracket of the Bullet Chess Championship 2024 (BCC), knocking out all their opponents to secure a spot in the Final. Nakamura showcased his prowess by leading throughout his match against GM Nihal Sarin, while Naroditsky fought off GM Sam Sevian’s comeback to emerge victorious.

In the Losers Bracket, GM Alireza Firouzja defeated GM Anish Giri with a commanding performance, while GM Jose Martinez eliminated GM Andrew Tang after a hard-fought battle. Other notable victories included GM David Paravyan’s tight match against GM Minh Le and GM Oleksandr Bortnyk’s win over GM Maxime Vachier-Lagrave.

The action will continue on Wednesday, June 12, with Nakamura and Naroditsky set to face off in the Winners Final. Meanwhile, Firouzja will take on Bortnyk, and Martinez will clash with Paravyan in the Losers Bracket.
