The FIDE Women’s World Chess Championship 2025 is set to be an all-China showdown as defending champion Ju Wenjun takes on challenger Tan Zhongyi in a 12-game match across Shanghai and Chongqing. This highly anticipated battle between the world No.2 and world No.3 players will determine the next world champion in women’s chess.
