Exciting News: MOONTON Games Announces Grand Launch of Magic Chess: Go Go in the APAC Region on 21 February, 2025
MOONTON Games has announced the grand launch of Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG) in the APAC region on 21 February, 2025. The standalone app, which is a spinoff of the popular Magic Chess game mode from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, will be available for download in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand on iOS and Android.
With over 15 million pre-registrations, Magic Chess: Go Go has already garnered a lot of interest from gamers. Gao “Skyhook” Chong, MCGG Producer at MOONTON Games, shared that the game is set in the Land of Dawn and features Commanders, Go Go Cards, and Synergies based on the heroes and legends from MLBB lore.
The inaugural season of Magic Chess: Go Go, titled “Rising Dawn,” will offer players a variety of free and exclusive rewards, including Commanders, Chessboard Skins, and hero skins. Additionally, players can link their MLBB accounts to claim a free X.Borg skin by completing missions in MCGG.
One of the exciting features of MCGG’s first season is the Two-Player Mode, where players can team up and battle against other duos. Each player can send a 1-star hero to their partner for additional support during the match, with the team’s overall standing determined by the higher-ranked player in the duo.
Furthermore, veteran players of Magic Chess will have their inventories converted into MCGG currency, allowing them to exchange Golden Diamonds, Gift Tickets, and Passes for Commanders and skins in the MCGG Shop.
Gao Chong expressed that the APAC Grand Launch is just the beginning for MCGG, with plans for exciting initiatives in the future, including esports tournaments. While the game will launch in the APAC region on 21 February, there is no information yet on its global release. Stay tuned for more updates on this thrilling new addition to the MOONTON Games lineup.
