In a thrilling turn of events at the 2025 Weissenhaus Freestyle Chess Grand Slam Play-In, GM Hans Niemann shocked the chess world by knocking out top players like Maxime Vachier-Lagrave and winning the first game against Ian Nepomniachtchi.
