Kisii School Chief Principal Thanks TSC for Fair Promotion of Teachers
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has recently conducted interviews for qualified teachers for promotion, and Kisii School Chief Principal Fred Mogaka has expressed his gratitude for the fair work done by the commission in promoting long-serving teachers to headship positions.
Mogaka emphasized the dedication and hard work of classroom teachers, stating that they deserve recognition for their role in shaping the future of the nation by educating students. He acknowledged the challenging conditions and low salaries that teachers often face, highlighting that promotion serves as a form of reward for their commitment to the profession.
In a message to those who were promoted, Mogaka congratulated them and wished them success in their new roles. He welcomed them to their new positions and encouraged them to serve with humility and dedication.
Among those promoted to principal positions are Fred Machogu, Tom Sosi, Benard Kasmir, Roby Nyakenanda, and Everlyne Oigara from various schools in the region. Additionally, Richard Orori and Evans Michieka were also promoted to new roles.
Kisii County Quality Assurance and Standards Officer Adenya Mayodi confirmed the promotions and congratulated the teachers on their new positions. He urged them to demonstrate exemplary work in their new roles and encouraged those who were not promoted to continue serving diligently.
Mayodi did not disclose the specific locations where the newly promoted principals would be stationed but promised to provide updates soon.
The promotion of these teachers reflects the commitment of the Ministry of Education to recognize and reward the hard work of educators. The news has been met with excitement and anticipation as the promoted teachers prepare to take on their new responsibilities.
