Registration Open for 41st Annual Bucks County Senior Games – Newtown, PA

The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging is gearing up for the 41st Annual Bucks County Senior Games, and registration is now open for seniors looking to participate in a week of friendly competition and fun.

Scheduled to kick off on May 29 with a special event at the Newtown Campus of Bucks County Community College, the Senior Games will feature a variety of activities including biking, cornhole, table tennis, pickleball, bocce, chess, bowling, and more. Competitions will take place from June 5 through June 11 at various senior centers and locations throughout the county.

Open to anyone 50 or older, the Senior Games are inclusive of people of all skill and ability levels. Registration includes a Senior Games t-shirt, lapel pin, and a free lunch provided by Independence Blue Cross at the kickoff event. The deadline to register is May 15 at 4 pm.

Kathy Bennett, director of the Area Agency on Aging, encourages seniors to participate in the games, emphasizing the opportunity to get outside, exercise, socialize with friends, and possibly make new connections. The Senior Games are designed to be a highlight of the summer, filled with fun and camaraderie.
