Upcoming Events at Moorestown Library – Jan. 9-16

The Moorestown Library is gearing up for an exciting week filled with events for all ages. From game nights to craft days, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

On Thursday, Jan. 9, the library will host a game of Mahjong at 1 p.m. followed by a meeting of the Sustainable Moorestown Committee at 7 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 10, will feature a Spice Grab and Go event where participants can pick up ground cloves for cooking or baking. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Moorestown Library.

Saturday, Jan. 11, will be a busy day at the library with a Kids’ Chess Club at 10 a.m., an Inspiring Craft Day for children ages 5 to 12 at 11 a.m., and a volunteer opportunity for teens to help with the craft day. The day will end with a classical piano concert featuring Artem Tenkeli at 2 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 12, will offer a Kids’ drop-in craft event presented by the Teen Advisory Board, as well as a Complex PTSD Support Group and Book Club.

The following week will continue with events such as Baby Time, Knitting Group Meetup, International Cinema and Discussion Night, Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group, Story Time, Mexican Train Dominoes game, International Literature Book Club, Toddler Time, Rummikub game, Gardening with the Master Gardeners, and more.

With such a diverse range of events, the Moorestown Library is sure to be a hub of activity for the community. Be sure to check the library website for more information and to register for events that interest you.
