Buffalo Bills Shift Focus to 2025 NFL Draft After Free Agency Slows Down

The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for the 2025 NFL Draft as free agency winds down. With a focus on bolstering their defense, the Bills have been actively scouting talent to address their needs on that side of the ball.

One player that has caught their eye is Arkansas defensive lineman Landon Jackson. Despite their need at defensive tackle, the Bills have shown a lot of interest in Jackson and ultimately decide to bring him in with their first-round pick. Jackson impressed scouts at the NFL Combine and is poised to make an impact on the edge for Buffalo.

In the second round, the Bills select TCU wide receiver Savion Williams, adding a versatile weapon to their offense. Williams showcased his talent at the Combine and could provide a boost as a wideout, out of the backfield, and even as a kick returner.

With their final pick on Friday night at No. 62 in the second round, the Bills pick up Florida State cornerback Azareye’h Thomas. Standing at 6-foot-2, Thomas has the ideal size for the position and is still developing as a player. The Bills see potential in Thomas and believe they can help him reach his full capabilities.
