“GM Andrew Tang Wins Fourth Bullet Brawl Title of 2025, Greek FM Anastasia Avramidou Impresses”

GM Andrew Tang continues his winning streak in the world of hyperbullet chess, securing his fourth Bullet Brawl title of 2025 and eighth overall. Tang outscored top GMs like Oleksandr Bortnyk, Daniel Naroditsky, and Arjun Erigaisi to claim the $400 first prize for the second consecutive week. Greek FM Anastasia Avramidou also impressed, winning the best women’s prize with a 15-point margin. The next edition of Bullet Brawl is set to begin on Saturday, March 22.

At the start of the year, Tang had only four Bullet Brawl titles to his name, but he has since doubled that number to eight, surpassing the dominance of players like Hikaru Nakamura and Naroditsky. In the latest event, Tang showcased his skills with an impressive 17.5/19 score, leaving his opponents in the dust.

In a thrilling showdown, Tang faced off against his main rivals Bortnyk and Naroditsky, ultimately emerging victorious with crucial wins in their head-to-head matchups. The event also featured a community arena, where Sundram “SpeedyBoss” Kumar emerged as the winner after a fierce battle with longtime rival “Macmasterr.”
