St Rocco’s Hospice Updates Branding to Reflect Mission and Values

St Rocco’s Hospice Unveils New Branding to Reflect Mission of Making Every Day Count

St Rocco’s Hospice in Bewsey has recently undergone a branding update to better align with its mission of providing compassionate care and support to those in need. The hospice, which has been serving the community since 1985, offers a range of services including social, psychological, and spiritual support, as well as managing physical symptoms and providing bereavement care.

One of the key changes in the rebranding effort is the inclusion of the tagline ‘making every day count’ in the hospice’s logo. According to a spokesperson for St Rocco’s, this change emphasizes the organization’s commitment to making a difference in the lives of those facing difficult times.

Feedback from supporters, volunteers, and staff members also led to the decision to make green a prominent color in the branding, as it is closely associated with St Rocco’s. To complement the green, the team chose blue, a color traditionally linked to calmness, dignity, and loyalty – qualities that are essential to the hospice’s care and services.

The hospice’s new logo features a tower, symbolizing strength within the Warrington community, as well as a heart to represent compassion. Despite the changes, the hospice plans to update signs and materials gradually as needed, rather than all at once.

Importantly, the rebranding project was a labor of love that did not cost the hospice anything, involving volunteers, staff, and trustees. The spokesperson for St Rocco’s expressed that the brand refresh is a commitment to modernizing their look and services in preparation for their 40th year celebration in 2025, ensuring they can continue to provide essential care for years to come.
