Two of the world’s best blitz players, GM Parham Maghsoodloo and GM Daniel Naroditsky, added another accomplishment to their list of 2024 victories on December 17 by winning the Titled Tuesday tournaments. Maghsoodloo emerged as the early tournament winner with 10 points, while Naroditsky secured victory in the late tournament with 9.5 points.
In the early tournament, Maghsoodloo faced tough competition but managed to secure a win after a tactical endgame against GM Hikaru Nakamura. He finished on top with Nakamura coming in second on tiebreaks. In the late tournament, Naroditsky faced a five-way tie on 6.5 points before eventually clinching the victory with 9.5 points.
