U.P. CM Yogi Adityanath Announces State Govt Will Bear Healthcare Expenses for Needy Individuals

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a significant announcement on Friday, stating that the state government will cover healthcare expenses for individuals in need who do not possess Ayushman Bharat health cards. This move aims to ensure that all eligible individuals have access to necessary medical care, regardless of their financial situation.

During his visit to Gorakhpur, Yogi Adityanath held a ‘Janata Darshan’ program at the Gorakhnath Temple, where he listened to the grievances of over 300 visitors from various districts. Many expressed concerns about the rising costs of healthcare, especially for chronic diseases. The Chief Minister paid special attention to the complaints of women from Kushinagar district, ensuring they receive proper medical care and assistance.

In addition to addressing healthcare issues, Yogi Adityanath also took a stand against illegal land occupation by influential individuals. He directed officials to protect marginalized people from exploitation and impose strict punishments on land grabbers.

During his visit, the Chief Minister also met with 5-year-old chess prodigy Kushagra Agarwal, the country’s youngest FIDE rated player. Yogi played chess with Kushagra and encouraged him to continue excelling in the sport. The young prodigy, who has participated in international chess championships, received blessings and support from the Chief Minister.

Yogi Adityanath’s initiatives to ensure healthcare access for all and promote sports among the youth demonstrate his commitment to the well-being and development of the people of Uttar Pradesh.
