Indian squash icon Saurav Ghosal announced his immediate retirement from professional squash, marking the end of an illustrious career that saw him become the only Indian man to reach the world’s top 10. Ghosal, who hails from Kolkata, shared the news through an emotional Instagram post, reflecting on his journey in the sport.

Since making his PSA debut in 2003, Ghosal has clinched 10 PSA titles and reached 18 finals, winning 281 out of 511 matches on the PSA Tour. His career-high ranking of world number 10 was achieved in April 2019, where he spent six months among the elite.
