Waves Introduces Updates to Cloud MX Audio Mixer for Broadcasters and Media Networks

The latest updates to the Waves Cloud MX Audio Mixer are set to revolutionize the way broadcasters and media networks operate. With a focus on reducing deployment time and complexity, Waves has introduced new features that will benefit IT devops teams managing these environments.

One of the key upgrades is the Remote Assistance Mode in Waves Central, which now allows for automated activation and installation of Cloud MX and its plug-ins. This means that customers can now trigger installations remotely and non-interactively, saving time and increasing productivity.

Additionally, Waves now supports license activation to various storage options, including local disk drives, external EBS drives on AWS, and persistent disks on GCP. This flexibility provides broadcasters and media companies with more deployment options and simplifies the process of transferring licenses.

Furthermore, Waves has introduced automated scripts that enable users to create complete environments with just the push of a button. These scripts automate the activation, installation, and configuration of all relevant applications and drivers, ensuring reliable and repeatable deployments.

Cloud MX is compatible with major cloud platforms and protocols, including Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform. It also integrates seamlessly with Dante Connect and NDI AV protocols. Waves Audio offers Cloud MX on a subscription basis, with weekly, monthly, and yearly plans available.

Overall, the updates to the Waves Cloud MX Audio Mixer are set to streamline operations for broadcasters and media networks, making it easier than ever to manage audio in the cloud.
