WFM Natalya Tsodikova Leads 2024 U.S. Senior Women’s Championship with Perfect Score
The 2024 U.S. Senior Women’s Championship is heating up with WFM Natalya Tsodikova taking the lead with a perfect score after two days and three rounds. Tsodikova has been on fire, defeating top players in each round. In round 1, she defeated Brenda Nardi as White, followed by a victory over the 2023 U.S. Senior Women’s Champion WGM Anjelina Belakovskaia in round 2 as Black. In round 3, she continued her winning streak by defeating Jayashree Sekar.
One of the standout players in the tournament is newcomer Jayashree Sekar, who won the upset prize in rounds 1 and 2. Despite her losses, Sekar has been making waves in the championship and has earned praise for her performance.
