The Freestyle Chess G.O.A.T. Challenge Semifinals kicked off with a bang as GM Magnus Carlsen took the lead against GM Nodirbek Abdusattorov in a thrilling and strategic game. Carlsen, who had suffered defeats in the previous days, made a comeback with a series of wins and now only needs a draw to secure a spot in the Final.

In another exciting match, GM Levon Aronian outplayed GM Fabiano Caruana, leaving Caruana needing to win on demand to stay in the competition. The games were full of twists and turns, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats.
