GenChess: Design AI-Powered Chess Pieces and Play on the Board

Google has just released a groundbreaking new chess game called GenChess that is taking the chess world by storm. What sets GenChess apart from other chess games is its unique feature that allows players to design their own chess pieces using AI.

To play GenChess, all you have to do is visit the GenChess website in your browser and start designing your chess set. You can choose between a classic or creative set and then type in an AI prompt to describe the type of set you want to see. The AI will then generate sample chess pieces based on your prompt, and you can regenerate the set as many times as you like until you find the perfect design.

Once you have designed your chess set, the computer will generate opposing chess pieces for you to play against. You can then choose a difficulty level and a timer, and start playing a game of chess against the computer using your custom-designed pieces.

GenChess uses the Imagen 3 image generator from Google Gemini to create the custom chess pieces, giving players access to a range of powerful image manipulation features. This innovative technology is revolutionizing the way we play chess and allowing players to unleash their creativity in a whole new way.

While GenChess is free to play and offers endless possibilities for designing unique chess sets, it is also making waves as a main event sponsor of the 2024 World Chess Championships. Although the championship players will be using standard chess sets, GenChess is proving to be a game-changer in the world of chess.
