Introducing CoachChamps: A Unique Chess Event for Coaches and Students

Attention all chess enthusiasts! Get ready for an exciting event that will showcase the best chess coaches and most dedicated students in our community. Introducing CoachChamps, the first event of its kind designed to find the top chess coach and celebrate our passionate community of improvers.

Starting on September 9 at 11 a.m. ET, CoachChamps will feature a $25,000 prize fund for coaches and exclusive coaching sessions and prizes for students. The event will pair eight top-tier coaches with 32 motivated students in a unique improvement-based competition.

To be eligible to participate as a student, you must join the Improvers Club and actively take part in the 2025 Chess Improvement Challenge. The selected coaches will draft their students on September 9 and have one month to help them improve before the final challenge begins on October 7.

Among the participating coaches are well-known names in the chess community, including star content creator WGM Dina Belenkaya and GM Arturs Neiksans. Other confirmed coaches include NM Robert Ramirez and CM Can Kabadayi.

All participating students will receive prizes to aid in their improvement journey, including exclusive coaching sessions, a one-year Diamond membership, and a $100 Chessable voucher. Students who finish first in their rating bracket round-robin will also receive exclusive signed merchandise.
