Discover YouTube Playables: A New Way to Game on YouTube

Britons are known for spending countless hours on YouTube, watching everything from viral stunts to gadget reviews. But now, there’s a new way to procrastinate on the platform – playing video games.

Google has introduced YouTube Playables, a collection of around 75 games ranging from classic titles like Chess and Solitaire to popular mobile games like Angry Birds. These games can be accessed through YouTube’s mobile apps and website, making it easy for users to start gaming right away.

To play YouTube Playables, users simply need to open the YouTube app on their iPhone or Android device, scroll down to the ‘explore’ section, and select ‘playables.’ From there, they can choose from a variety of games and start playing with just a few taps.

Some of the games available on YouTube Playables include Angry Birds Showdown, Basketball FRVR: Dunk Shoot, and Cut the Rope. These casual games are designed to be played in short bursts, without the need for any downloads or installations.

Google began testing YouTube Playables last summer, as part of their efforts to bring more gaming content to the platform. With a wide range of games to choose from and easy access through the YouTube app, Britons now have another way to pass the time on the popular video-sharing platform.
