“Women Achievers Take Over PM Modi’s Social Media Accounts on International Women’s Day”

The International Women’s Day was marked by a unique initiative taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where he handed over his social media accounts to some of the country’s “inspiring women.” From chess grandmaster R Vaishali to scientists Elina Mishra and Shilpi Soni, these women shared their experiences and stories to celebrate the achievements of women in India.

Elina Mishra and Shilpi Soni, nuclear and space scientists respectively, shared their experiences and highlighted the growing opportunities for Indian women in these sectors. They emphasized the excitement and gratification of working in science and technology and acknowledged the support for women in these fields.

Ajaita Shah, the Founder and CEO of Frontier Markets, focused on financial empowerment for women and highlighted the organization’s efforts in skilling and financial inclusion of rural women. She emphasized the importance of financially empowered women in decision-making and building a modern India.

Dr. Anjlee Agrawal, the founder of Samarthyam, Centre for Universal Accessibility, called for creating inclusive spaces through universal accessibility and inclusive mobility. She shared her work towards empowering women with disabilities and creating accessible environments in India.

Overall, the initiative taken by PM Modi to hand over his social media accounts to these inspiring women on International Women’s Day showcased the achievements and progress of women in various fields in India.
