In an intense week six of Division II of the 2024 Collegiate Chess League (CCL) Fall Season, Saint Louis B and Arizona emerged victorious in thrilling matchups. Trailing by a point entering the final round, the SLU B team staged a remarkable comeback with three critical victories. Meanwhile, Arizona dominated their match against Northwestern, outscoring them by nearly double the points.

The standout performances of the week came from Paris Prestia and Asish Panda of Arizona, who both achieved perfect scores to lead their team to victory. Prestia and Panda’s stellar play was instrumental in Arizona’s success, as they overcame their opponents with strategic and tactical brilliance.
