World Chess Championship Game 13 Live Updates: D Gukesh Vs Ding Liren

Indian Grandmaster D Gukesh is set to face off against Chinese counterpart Ding Liren in Game 13 of the World Chess Championship 2024 Final in Singapore. The 14-game series is currently tied at 6 points each after twelve intense games.

In the previous games, Ding Liren started strong with a win in Game 1, but Gukesh fought back to level the scores in Game 3. The following games saw a series of draws until Gukesh took the lead in Game 11, only for Ding Liren to equalize in Game 12.

As the players enter Game 13, the tension is palpable as they both aim to secure a crucial victory to inch closer to the championship title. With the score tied, every move becomes crucial in determining the outcome of the match.

To be crowned the champion, a player needs to reach 7.5 points out of the total 14 games. A win earns one point, a draw is worth 0.5 points, and a loss results in 0 points. If the match ends in a tie after all 14 games, a tiebreak will be held to determine the winner.

This year’s championship is historic as it features two Asian players competing for the title, with a prize money of USD 2.5 million at stake for the winner.

Stay tuned for live updates as D Gukesh and Ding Liren battle it out in Game 13 of the World Chess Championship 2024!
