Onyshchuk’s performance was particularly impressive as he secured his first-ever Titled Tuesday win, becoming the first player to score 10.5 points in one tournament since July. In a field of 784 players, Onyshchuk dominated with a perfect 10/10 start before being held to a draw by GM Marc-Andria Maurizzi in the final round. His wins against top players like Magnus Carlsen and Jose Martinez showcased his exceptional skill.

His wins against fellow American GMs Hikaru Nakamura and Fabiano Caruana solidified his position at the top of the leaderboard.

Both winners walked away with $1,000 in prize money, with Nakamura, Caruana, and Maurizzi also earning significant cash prizes for their strong performances. The Titled Cup standings saw Xiong rise to third place overall, while the women’s standings remained relatively unchanged.
